Nice to Meet You

Growing up, Mom would say, "home is where your toothbrush is." My father, Colonel Cool, flew F1-11's in the US Air Force and we moved all the time!

After college, I spent 12 years in media and marketing as an Executive in Manhattan at places like The Wall Street Journal, the Washington Post, and a high-growth start-up. My job was coaching brands like IBM, Morgan Stanley, Whole Foods, GE, Red Bull, and yes, even Zillow on how to better connect with people.

I eventually got back to my roots in Louisiana. Grandma Cool is from St. Francisville, and something just felt right and familiar here. No joke, she used to mail Tony Chachere's across the Atlantic to us when we were stationed overseas.

I'm glad I found New Orleans when I did. I bought a house and met my husband, Matt Murphy, two months later. When you and I work together you'll meet Matt and likely our two furbabies Maddie & Wren too.

I love this city and I love being an ambassador to folks new to a neighborhood or to New Orleans. I also am profoundly good at helping people move on.

As for New Orleans? Every year here seems to bring further affirmation that my toothbrush and I have both found our home.  Let's find yours!

Let's Work Together

Helping people and places come together comes naturally to Elisa. Why? Perhaps it has something to do with her upbringing (see above). She enjoys learning about people and helping them discover that home isn't an end to a journey but the start of one.

"Exploring New Orleans can feel like you've stepped through the looking glass. Don't worry. I get it. I know how to navigate things here and I've got you covered. Let's chase your dreams together. You can count on Cool!" - Elisa Cool Murphy

Your home or place of business is a place that either supports or hinders your dreams. Her goal is to understand your goals and dreams so you can find a place to play a supporting role in your success!

She excels at helping crack puzzles that seem daunting or impossible.

She also enjoys learning about the city, its history, and its real estate.  A graduate of the Mayor's Civic Leadership Academy and The Louisiana State Museum's 100 hr course on New Orleans's architecture and history, Elisa is also a Historic Home Specialist and member of the Preservation Resource Center. She served five years on community and neighborhood boards. And runs a successful in-home Airbnb. Her clients benefit from her experience, know-how, and innovative approach to everything she does.
